un veloce aggiornamento per mostrare che non ho mentito ed ho effettivamente continuato a produrre modelli per la mia squadra del Chaos di Blood bowl.

a quick update to show that I'm not a liar (mostly ;P) and that I've really continued to paint and convert the miniatures for my Blood bowl Chaos team.

ormai sono il fantasma di me stesso e la mia produzione bloggistica è, lo avete notato, molto ridotta.
Questo non significa però che abbia oziato e la mia produzione, benché ridotta, non si è arrestata.

Con gli amici dell'associazione, abbiamo deciso di fare una minilega introduttiva di Bloodbowl per neofiti (me compreso) ed abbiamo quindi "messo insieme" diverse squadre con pezzi molto vecchi o riciclando elementi di progetti mai completati.
Avendo diversi pezzi danneggiati di Heroquest, oltre a Beastmen e guerrieri del caos dei lontani anni '90,  ho deciso di provare a modificarli in modo da ottenere una squadra utilizzabile anche se molto "vintage". Sempre in quest'ottica, mi sono cimentato in una modifica abbastanza estesa di un vecchio (ed orribile) umano della scatola base della 2^ edizione di Blood bowl.

With my friends from my gaming group, we decided to make a little Bloodbowl league for beginners (including myself) and we then "put together" different teams with very old models or recycling elements and miniatures from dead projects.
Having several damaged Heroquest models, and some chaos warriors and beastmen from the nineties, I decided to try to modify them in order to get an usable, even if really "vintage", team. Keeping in mind that I wanted a recycled feeling with my team, I have also tried to do a fairly extensive convertion of one of the old (and horrible) human player from the Blood Bowl 2nd edition box.

Anche se la mia squadra non era ancora in lavorazione, ho comunque giocato la mia prima partita contro gli orchi di Kuvier.
Devo dire che è stato uno scontro "maschio" ma la mia squadra non se l'è cavata male. Prossimo incontro contro i "Morti che Parlano", squadra Khemri di Rothmoni.. Devo dire che li temo... ;)

Even though my team was still heavily in a work in progress state, I still managed to play my first game against Kuvier's orcs.
I must say it was more a fight than a match but my team did not fared badly. 
My next match will be against "The speaking deads",  Rothmoni's Khemri team.. I must say that I fear them a little... ;)

Cosa bolle in pentola o "What's next" - Wh40k progress - Parte 3

il fatto di essere senza computer a casa mi ha creato degli evidenti problemi di aggiornamento del Blog, detto questo, ho utilizzato il maggior "tempo libero" per portare un po' avanti il lavoro sulla Guardia Imperiale..

not having a working Computer at home has caused alot of problems in my "blogging experience". Having said that, I've used the spare time in working in my Imperial Guard...

A giorni partirò (finalmente direi) per il mio viaggio di nozze, destinazione Normandia, Nord della Francia e Parigi, ottima scusa per mostrare alla mia dolce mogliettina dove sono cresciuto!! ;)

Ciao a tutti ragazzi,
come avrete intuito, mi sono ribeccato un virus (il bello è che questa volta ero anche "innocente"... )
Se vi capita di vedere questa schermata, siete anche voi incappati in questi B*st*rdi.....

Ho trovato le istruzioni per rimuoverlo su questo sito ma non mi si avvia il pc in modalità provvisoria.... Temo che l'unica strada sia la formattazione.. Unico vero problema è che non credo di poter recuperare molte delle foto dei miei vari progetti modellistici che stavo ultimando..... MALEDETTI!!! :(

John Carter of Mars...... Ma fatemi il piacere!!!!

Salve a tutti...
Un breve post non modellistico per una volta....

Come ben saprete, è appena uscito al cinema il tanto atteso "John Carter", dico che era da me molto atteso poiché, tanti anni fa, misi le mani sulla ormai classica serie a 1000 lire della Newton (parliamo di PARECCHI anni fa). Mi appassionai così tanto alla serie che, in vista dell'uscita del film, riuscii a convincere la mia (solitamente refrattaria alla fantascienza od al fantasy) mogliettina a leggere il primo volume.. Beh è stato per lei amore a prima vista e si è divorata l'intera trilogia in poco più di una settimana.... Detto questo, l'altra sera sono andato con lei a vedere il tanto atteso film prodotto dalla Disney... Devo dire che lo stesso ci ha un cincinino deluso.... Ad essere sinceri, Gisa ha cominciato ad incavolarsi già dai primi minuti mentre io me la ridevo alla grande.... Penso che di fedele alla trama ci sia solo il nome dei protagonisti. E voglio essere generoso!!! ;)
Che dire, in realtà è un filmetto piacevole più adatto ad un gruppo di adolescenti che ad uno spettatore interessato alla trasposizione di un classico (mia moglie è in questo momento dietro di me e sta ripetendo a rotazione "che film di merda" e "che michiata").
In conclusione, andatelo pure a vedere, ma andateci a cuor leggero (mi fanno eco di andare MOLTO a cuor leggero) e, se non avete mai letto i libri, fatevi un bel regalo e comprateli il prima possibile che ne vale la pena....

Hi guys...
A short post about something different for once...
Lately I was eagerly awaiting the "John Carter" movie because, having read it many years ago (we're talking about MANY years ago), I loved it so much that, wanting to see the movie, I managed to convince my (usually refractary to fantasy or science fiction) wife to read the first book (A princess of Mars) .. Well it was love at first sight for her and she litterally devoured the whole trilogy in just over a week ....
That said, the other evening, we went to see this highly anticipated Disney produced film... Well, I must say that the were a little disappointed.... To be honest, Gisa was pissed off after just a few minutes while I was laughing at large.. I think that almost nothing in the movie is faithful to the plot of the books, only the name of the main characters were the same.... And I want to be generous! ;)
That said, it's actually a nice little movie more suitable for a group of teenagers than for an audience interested in those classic books (my wife is now standing behind me and was repeating in rotation "that film sucks" and something else I cannot translate).
In conclusion, Go and see it, but go there with a light heart and don't expect too much from it.
If you've never read the books, do yourself a gift and buy them as soon as possible they're worth it .. ..

What I'm doing....

Ciao a tutti ragazzi,
ultimamente non riesco proprio a mantenere i ritmi di prima, e si vede... Questo però non vuol dire che io non stia lavorando alacremente, anzi!
Come vi dicevo nel mio precedente post, i miei colori si sono talmente asciugati che, anche diluendoli, rimangono comunque grumosi e ruvidi, in una parola, pessimi!
Questo fatto mi ha portato a interrompere quasi del tutto la pittura in attesa di sostituirli con colori nuovi e mi sono dedicato maggiormente ad assemblare e convertire varie miniature per la Guardia Imperiale.
Il primo episodio della campagna di Zerloon ad ATZ però mi ha fatto tornare un po' di voglia "pittorica". Preso da raptus, ho afferrato Mickey che era abbandonato semi dipinto sulla mia scrivania da svariati mesi.
In un paio di ore gli ho realizzato una felpa "Ben10" ed uno zaino alla "Spongebob" (più o meno), realizzato una semplice basetta ed ecco un giovane sopravvissuto da aggiungere alla mia bacheca..

Hello guys,

lately I just can not keep pace as before, and it shows but this does not mean I'm not working hard indeed!
As I said in my previous post, my colors have almost dried up and, even after thinning them, they remain lumpy and rough, in a word, horrible!

This fact led me to stop all the painting while I wait to replace my colors with some new I must purchase. Meanwhile, I have dedicated myself mostly in assembling and converting various miniatures for the Imperial Guard.
Zerloon's first post about his ATZ campaign made me wanting to use my brushes a little more and I grabbed Mickey which was abandoned, still half painted, on my desk for several months.

In a couple of hours I have given him a "Ben 10" ​​ sweatshirt and a (more or less) "SpongeBob" backpack. I then created a simple base and now we have a young survivor to add to my cabinet..

Per la basetta mi son tenuto sul semplice ma ho voluto fare 2 esperimenti, provare a realizzare una lattina di bibita ed un po' di carta accartocciata.... Sembrerà strano ma era la prima volta che ci provavo!! ;)

For the base I tried to keep it simple but I did 2 experiments, I've tried to make a soda can and added a tillte of paper "rubbish"... You may believe me not, but I've never tried it before!! ;)

Una bibita ed una "Guida" e si va a caccia di zombi! -- A drink and a "famous Guide" and we can start hunting zombies!

Per ora è tutto, sul lato "Progetto Z", vorrei ora realizzare una versione "in salute" della mia guardia giurata e, soprattutto, il mio alter ego, non sarà facile... Per quanto riguarda gli altri progetti, beh, date un'occhiata voi stessi!!! ;)

That all for now, for the "Progetto Z" I would like to do an "healthier" version of my Security guard and my alter ego to use in my part of the ATZ campaign, it won't be easy... About my other projects, well, look for yourself in what mess I work!! ;)
