Hi Everybody,
as promised in my last post, I've decided to complete one of the models I was working on for this year Zombtober even if we are in November now.
This week I've decided to convert and paint a female survivor with abundant "character"... ;)

Starting from the usual paint-stripped clix, I proceeded to remove the arms and head of the model. At this point I rummaged between the bits of the Wargames Factory Women survivors (excellent box btw!) and selected 2 arms and an head that I thought were suitable. Having posed the bits in an attractive way, I completed the miniature sculpting a T-shirt and the pants pockets. Considering that this girl seems to be undeniably in good shape and fit, I thought I'd paint her with tight jeans and a sports shirt.

I then covered the base with some green stuff and I texturized it with a bit of sand paper. Finally I tried to sculpt an abandoned cigarettes packet.... What do you think??? :)

Speaking of something else, I would like to let you know that we are in the final stages of the Mars Attack Kickstarter that will end on Sunday. Among the many very interesting things I suggest you take a look at the Greenville heroes that should be particularly suited to use as survivors ...
That'all for now, I hope I'll see youu soon on Kickstarter!!!
Ciao!! :)
That's a nice looking conversion you made, and good job painting her up.
RispondiEliminaThank you... :)
EliminaJust one word.....SUPURBE!
RispondiEliminaThunks my friend!! ;P
EliminaFantastic job Gnotta. I love how you convert and re paint these clix she is certainly blessed in many ways!
RispondiEliminaThank you pal, I hope you'll like the 3 others I'm working on too..... ;)
EliminaThe original clix figure seems to have been in a slightly odd pose, but that is an excellent conversion, as always. I particularly like the litter on the base - it's a nice detail.
RispondiEliminathe model was indeed in an odd pose, I bought her a little while ago wanting to strip her completely and then redress her with some green stuff (I sound "bizarre" said like that.. ahem...). But, when I actually received her, I noticed she was in a pose too much "particular" to easily use her..
EliminaIt was looking at the way you used the WF women survivors on your blog that I finally decided to purchase the kit to try something different....
I'm happy you like the packet on the tarmac, it was a little experiment I wanted to try again (first time it was on an 3 zombies horde base I made in the past).
You keep making great models out of CLIX!
RispondiEliminaLooks really good mate!
Thanks my friend.. :)
EliminaNow that is one mighty fine conversion and paint job. Well done, Gnotta. A female with curves in all the right places - what's not to like?
RispondiEliminaI can see at least two very good points about your model, but won't go into that here.
RispondiEliminaSuperb conversion and love the detritus on the base.
The Mars Attacks kickstarter has a lot going for it, the survivors, as you point out are excellent but there is so much more plastic goodness too.
Awesome conversion, she definitely has plenty of ... character :)
RispondiEliminaLove the painting on the jeans, very well done
Great conversion work!
RispondiEliminainspirational as always
RispondiEliminaBeautiful model with very nice character. The cigarettes are genius.
RispondiEliminaExcellent work i like your style as painter and as converter.
RispondiEliminaI'm working myself sometime on heroclix. I like their dynamic poses for some of their figurines.
